Summer classes opportunity

Summer classes opportunity

CG Directors and Instructors...  A message from one of our member units.

Directors!

We want to invite your color guard to PROJECT COLOR GUARD! This a completely free clinic geared towards every ability and experience level for high school guard members.

We realize you may have been unable to have spring auditions and your summer rehearsals are up in the air. We want to provide you, your students, and your instructors the opportunity to learn in a safe and fun environment.

We will adhere to safe, social distancing guidelines and extra sanitizing. Large classes will be offered outside for more space and additional ventilation will be used in all smaller spaces.

Classes will be offered in dance, flag, rifle, and sabre on beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. Each class is taught by some of the most experienced instructors and performers in Middle and West Tennessee, including performers from Open and World class WGI finalist winter guards.

We ask that you bring your own equipment, although there will be some extras available. Participants are asked to bring 5 non-perishable microwaveable canned goods, wear clothing they can move in, bring a water jug, and $10 for lunch or bring their own lunch.

Project Color Guard is sponsored by Project Imagination winter guard.  Project Imagination is West Tennessee?s oldest competitive winter guard, having competed in the Southeastern Color Guard Circuit, the Mississippi Indoor Association, and WGI. Project Imagination has earned silver medals in both local circuits and has been a WGI regional finalist.

The clinic will take place at North Side HS, in Jackson, TN, in the north gym. Registration begins at 8:30 am. The clinic will begin at 9:00 am. We will have a show and tell at 5:00 pm. All ability levels welcome, including instructors!

Please pass along this great and FREE opportunity to your students.  Instructors are encouraged to attend as well and are welcome to participate in all classes.
Feel free to send any questions to projectimagination@live.com or follow us on Facebook or Instagram.

We look forward to having your students attend our clinic this summer!

Dare to Imagine,
Ann Cavin, Director
